Each vintage is a different experience that inspires
new chapters of the wine grower’s adventure.
In 2020, while the world stops, nature continues and
in the vineyards we take care of the new harvest. The
harvest begins and we still have wine in the cellar
and little space available.
All the varieties of the Devea de Vernet ferment
together without skins giving us in a wine a
brushstroke of what we have: herbs, fruits and
flowers, delicacy and explosion, warmth and freshness
... All in one

The wine

Vintage 2020
Varieties Garnatxa Blanca, Macabeo, Morenillo, Garnatxa negra, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon i Franc, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Merlot
Harvest Manually in boxes at beginning of September
Winemaking Direct press and fermentation at 20ºC in stainless tank
Ageing 6 months on lees in stainless tank
Notes Intense “Clarete” color; flavours of fresh and ripened fruits together with typical herbs notes; in the mouth a greedy and light entry gives way to a citrus freshness, salinity and volume, with a bitter point at the end that makes it a casual but gastronomic wine at the same time.
Alcohol 13% vol.

Location Finca Mas Vernet: totes les varietats
Soils Panal: quaternary fossil dunes with a silty texture, calcareous with deep layers of clay next to the wooden areas
Altitude Parcel·les entre 340 i 360 mm
Management Cover crops planted in alternate rows, vines ploughed mechanically, green pruning and manual management of the canopy.
Yield variable a segona de la varietat: entre 4 i 6 mil kg/ha kg/ha
