The wine

Varieties Garnatxa negra, Samsó, Cabernet & Merlot
Harvest Picked by hand in 15kg boxes in mid October
Winemaking The 4 varieties fermented together in stainless steel
Ageing 24 months in 300 litre oak "Botti"
Notes Garnet red; delicate nose of red fruit, spices and cocoa; on the palate it shows its elegance with excellent balance and sweet tannins

The vineyards

Location Finca Mas Vernet
Soils Panal: quaternary fossil dunes with a silty texture, calcareous.
Altitude 350-400m
Density Trained vines with a density of 4200 plants/ha
Management Cover crops planted in alternate rows, vines ploughed mechanically, green pruning and crop thinning for qualitative and quantitative reasons.
Yield 4500 kg/ha
